Telecom OSP/FTTH Engineering Professional, Team Leader & Community Volunteer
Building Physical Networks & Everyday Connections
For years, my professional life has centered on telecom infrastructure—leading outside plant (OSP) engineering, fiber-to-the-home (FTTH) network rollouts, route feasibility, and guiding field teams to build physical communication backbones that connect communities to the digital world.
Yet, alongside fiber optics and duct lines, my personal foundation has always been tactile: dog-eared textbooks, local libraries, and technical handbooks passed down through colleagues and mentors. Delivering critical infrastructure taught me that lasting impact comes from steady, on-the-ground execution rather than unnecessary complexity.
That perspective directly informs my civic initiatives: applying the discipline of physical planning and team collaboration to neighborhood book sharing and community mutual support.
The book-sharing initiative is an informal, personal passion project in its formative early pilot stage—not a registered charity—created simply to connect unread books with neighbors and students who need them.
Why Books Matter: How 13+1 Began
The idea behind The book-sharing idea emerged quite simply at home. Looking across my personal bookshelves, I realized that dozens of valuable books—practical engineering texts, competitive exam preparation guides, literature, and general science volumes—were resting unread after serving their initial purpose.
At the same time, students and young professionals in nearby neighborhoods often struggle to access affordable, physical study and reading materials. Instead of letting useful books sit idle on shelves as decorations, the most natural choice was to place them back into circulation.
13+1 started as a direct, neighbor-to-neighbor experiment: sharing unread, cherished books freely from home shelves with community members and aspiring learners who can immediately benefit from them.
An honest, informal initiative exploring practical ways to encourage book exchanges, reading circles, and peer sharing without corporate overhead or red tape.
Philosophy & Guiding Values
The non-negotiable mental models governing both my professional systems work and our civic public service experiments.
Open Knowledge Access
Good books should never remain locked on private shelves when someone else can learn from them. Physical knowledge should flow freely to aspiring learners.
Grassroots Action
No administrative overhead or bureaucracy. Real community building happens through personal initiative, direct handoffs, and honest neighborly support.
Practical Engineering
Approaching both telecom infrastructure and civic efforts with disciplined planning, field validation, and resilient, low-maintenance methods.
Lifelong Learning
Maintaining intellectual curiosity across technical engineering standards, mentoring junior peers, and cultivating a sustained habit of reading.
Milestones & Civic Footprint
A chronological timeline connecting key technological milestones, community initiatives launched, and ongoing civic experiments.
The book-sharing initiative is in its formative early pilot stage. Community initiatives are developed with pragmatism and transparency, shared openly for neighborhood replication.
13+1 Early Pilot & Neighborhood Book Sharing
Launched an early personal initiative to re-circulate unread books from home shelves to local students and community members. Documenting simple, zero-cost practices for small-scale community book exchanges and reading circles.
Telecom OSP & FTTH Network Rollouts & Team Leadership
Managed and led comprehensive outside plant (OSP) and fiber-to-the-home (FTTH) network deployment projects. Supervised cross-functional engineering teams, fiber layout design, route feasibility, and quality standards for reliable broadband connectivity.
Mentoring Junior Telecom Engineers & Technicians
Facilitated on-site training sessions, fiber testing standards, and best-practice engineering documentation for new field technicians and junior engineers stepping into telecom deployment roles.
Engineering Foundations & Early Book-Sharing Circles
Completed engineering education and began professional technical career. Maintained personal informal book-sharing habits, lending reference books and technical guides to aspiring students and peers.
Personal Interests & Grounding Practices
Interests that cultivate patient attention, structural perspective, and reverence for natural cycles.
Reading & Technical Literature
Avid reader of history, biographies, science, and foundational engineering literature. Believing that cultivating a deep reading habit enriches clear thinking and empathy in all fields.
Gardening & Nature
Spending time caring for plants and local greenery. Working with the soil offers a tangible grounding practice that balances the fast-paced nature of telecom projects with patience and natural cycles.
Community Infrastructure
Deeply interested in physical connectivity, public utilities, and simple, durable community exchange systems that can be sustained with minimal fuss.
