Frequently Addressed Queries
How are parcel postage costs covered?
The book-sharing initiative operates via voluntary subsidy. For community libraries and students facing financial constraints, domestic postage within India is fully underwritten by the initiative. Benefactors sending parcels may request pre-paid courier labels.
What genres and editions are accepted?
We prioritize foundational STEM texts, school-level supplementary readers, competitive examination guides (<3 years old), historical literature, and multilingual children's storybooks. Damaged, unbound, or obsolete manuals cannot be accepted.
Can local hubs be established?
Yes. We offer an open-source inventory template and initial box seedings (25-50 curated books) to educators, residential societies, or independent cafes interested in establishing autonomous drop-off shelves.

Care, damage, and returns
Please take reasonable care of books. Normal wear is understood. Report lost or significantly damaged books to the organiser so a fair solution can be discussed.
